| 14 hours ago by ArmoredBear Evey time I try import video footage to either Sony Vegas Movie Studio or Windows Movie Maker both programs say there is a problem and they have to close. Also, I noticed Windows Explorer would do the same thing after changing the video files to thumbnails. Does this mean my registry is corrupted? ... I expect that the avi file did not save correctly on being created and that it will not load into any editing software did you use fraps or what program ? ... | 15 hours ago by admin I have used Vegas Video on my PC for awhile now, but the raw files from the Zi8 wouldn't work with Vegas unless they were format-converted first (to MP4 or AVI), and more often than not, this conversion would then cause Vegas to crash. I have heard this same story repeated online by many other Windows / Vegas users, and each has a ten-step workaround to just get the footage from their camera to work with Windows. Yikes.
