DVD Times - Terminator Salvation
Of course, it's a perfect masterpiece in comparison to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, which just unimaginatively retreads the exact same beats as its predecessor. I would have been glad to see the franchise die a thousand deaths by .... A good actor would be able to gloss over this weak characterisation, and Christian Bale is an excellent one, but his approach to characters can be so dour and serious it borders on pretentiousness, and he spends almost his entire time ...

She has been featured on the covers and pages of such magazines as “944″, “Autograph Collector”, “Femme Fatales”, “Sirens of Cinema”, “Knockout”, .... Alana Curry- It is hard for an actor to step into a role that another actor has already created– but not for Bill. He took and made it his own effortlessly. AOBG » T3: The Fall Of The Franchise
19 Nov 2009 by Kain424
Terminator 3: The Rise Of The Machines is a waste of time. The truth be told, the movie is sort of on the mid-range of mediocrity; certainly not in the same league as its predecessors, but not the worst film Arnie's ever done. It goes from being somewhat .... Sequel to The Dark Knight will Happen With or Without Nolan
17 Nov 2009
Bale is a really good actor, and I feel that he truly captured batman (except for the Rorschach voice). I don't think that WB would just toss aside the man that brought them over a billion dollars last year. ..... Terminator Salvation was way better than Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines that movie felt like a freaking joke. Terminator Salvation failed cause WB hiring McG to direct the movie plus changing the rating of the movie from R-Rated to PG-13. when you watching ...

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - Blu-ray review - ...a tired rehash of a franchise being milked for profit. ... The Terminator character is an iconic role for Arnold Schwarzenegger and the actor was initially hesitant in taking part in the third film without the involvement of James Cameron, who lost his stake in the franchise during his divorce to the female lead of the first two films, Linda Hamilton. Without Arnold, it is hard to imagine the "Terminator" franchise ...

Movie Review: Terminator Salvation | Cinemassacre Productions
21 May 2009 by James
I found Terminator Salvation loud, redundant, and lacking a solid plot. Every actor held their own, and there was a lot of action and a lot of terminators, but it just didn't do it for me. But, that opinion might change after a second viewing. toiletfarm May 22, 2009 @ 8:29 am ...... Terminator: Salvation was a damn good movie a hell lot better than Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines which never got a good game anyway I think it kinda falls short of the first two movies. ...

Blu-ray.com - Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Blu-ray Review ...
11 Feb 2008
The man is actually a halfway decent actor, and I love everything he's done except for Junior--and that includes his early stuff like Hercules in New York and Stay Hungry. When I was growing up, I thought Schwarzenegger could do no wrong, ... All that said, you can probably imagine my excitement when I screened Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines upon its initial release in theaters. While I knew the film would be Arnie doing what he does best, namely walking around and ...

Compared with the latest reanimation of this robotic corpse, Terminator Salvation (2009, 12, Sony), 2003's previously disappointing Rise of the Machines starts to look like some kind of classic. ... It's easy to mock Bale, but if you were an actor of his calibre and found yourself in the middle of this godawful mess, you'd probably have a meltdown too. As for McG, he's “in development” with Terminator 5 – roll on the obliteration of the human race! ...

[Blu-Ray Review] TERMIATOR SALVATION | Stale Popcorn
2 minutes ago by Gareth
When I first heard that they were going to be continuing the Terminator franchise, I wasn't totally taken with the idea. After all, the last movie in the series, Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines wasn't exactly great shakes, was it? But then more and more details started to ... Christian Bale is usually a dependable actor, and I haven't seen a movie yet that he's starred in that I didn't like, but I honestly thought that this might be the first one. Happily, I was wrong. ...

In defence of Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines - Den of Geek
1 Jun 2009
Re: In defence of Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines Posted By simonbrew 1 June 2, 2009 10:12:15 AM. The whole film singularly justifies itself by that superb ending. Just about the last thing I was expecting from it, too. .... The only reason T3 was not that bad a movie was because it was a Terminator movie. It is the brilliance of the first two movies that carried this one. First off, not one actor in this movie was impressive. While much of the blame can be placed on ...
