I sort of agree with Darkgod that this film might not encourage as much discussion because most people have seen it and made "put the lotion in the basket" jokes aplenty already. But here's a possible discussion point. Is Silence of the Lambs a horror .... Cox wipes the floor with Hopkins, IMO. The Lecter in Manhunter was way more terrifying. Quote: ... She used to have us say to strangers "I see thy nose, but not the dog I shall throw it to." Brian Cox is the bee's knees. :-) .... Hopkins is broader, yes, but Silence of the Lambs was a broader, more open film. The later 'Lecter' films are all hackwork, with Hopkins chewing the scenery and cashing the check.
