A possible shot in the dark... The two programs that do work most likely supply their own codec files for the file types they support. You might try downloading the Codec files at http://www.codecguide.com/ and see if they fix your problem. I notice they advise those using the 64-bit windows codec's to also install the ... AR was shot to pieces,had thick black border across the top,was dark,colours wrong more. Audio was ok nothing special .....your typical cam audio. | 17 May 2009 by Ruemer I took an optical drive from work (Sony NEC 5200A DVDR) and installed it in my PC via IDE, booted from it, and it installed fine. WHY?! I have no idea. Windows 7 rocks, but for three days I had to fight with it and the hardware in my PC, trying to get them to agree with ... I'm just really curious as to what would have caused this; I'd like to learn from the experience, but I feel it was another random shot in the dark at fixing the problem and it just happened to work. ... As with any MPEG compression, if you stand next to the set during very dark scenes, you can see some pixelation. ....
