| 12 Dec 2009 by Hannah May 2009. Tests all came back fine, found a luteal phase defect and ovulation irregularity. June 2009. First Clomid cycle, produced a follicle but BFN. July-August 2009. Started with Clomid, then started Menopur injections. After 9 days of injections - nothing happened. Had to end the cycle by taking prometrium. September 2009. Asked for an alternative to the painful and expensive Menopur injections. Tried Femara, an oral medication. It produced ovulation - yes! ... I Will Be A Mom ... I decided to go off the pill and just let my body resume it's natural cycle, and we would not be trying ... The Dr. put me on a drug to induce ovulation called Clomid. I ovulated only once in the six cycles I took Clomid. Every month, excitement. Every month, let down. At this point (April '09), I was still not open about trying to conceive (TTC). ...
