It's not that it is particularly tricky in design, but rather that the damping factors and fatigue factors are not ... When viewing the .mpg4 file the tallest rod is 18mm at 6m and the next size down is 16mm at 4m. The rest is a mix of 12mm rods. MPEG (h.264 mpg4 etc) have less patten risk since the mpeg group is behind them. Ogg theora is a submarine patent .... This is not to say it isn´t needed but I would hope that the turf war over the video codec that will be standard on the web could be settled very very soon as its already shaping up to be the next nightmare for video producer who just ...
