I have a old steam powered USB 1 Sony CD-RW and most all of the good ISO's are too large for it to copy or transfer Soooo it's the old flash drive routine or over a network DUH ! ... I just bought a slim external USB burner for my netbook last week because the usb drive and sdhc cards were not working 100% for things like booting up "live CD" distros for testing. Oops. | 13 Nov 2009 I downloaded Opensuse and am about to burn it to CDRW! I know, media is cheap but I hate waste. I suspect Mint doesn't like my set up, I have a lot of hard drives and a DVD drive on PATA/IDE. I remember Mint Gloria's installer .... My old Mac Mini doesn't burn DVD's but I can port the ISO to a USB drive and burn on another machine. I need to buy myself a new DVDRW but with OS X it is such a lottery finding one that reads and writes well. My last decent one was a Pioneer. ... | 25 Nov 2008 by Ben Popken My last issue was with my MacBook battery that had warped and stopped working (leaving it on for extended periods downloading files probably didn't help) and I knew it was not under warranty any longer so I was expecing to purchase a new battery but I took it with me and just see what might ..... may I please have a quarter of your wages every year? i love apple products! i have 15 ipods, 2 iphones, an 8 core mac pro and 5 macbook pros. but i feel like i paid too much. ...
