Now, I'm eagerly awaiting my second viewing of this film and I have to admit, a lot of it went straight over my head. I'm sure there are a huge amount of clever little nuances that I missed, but still, the way Kaufman plays with .... This movie was shot on a $4.5 million budget. Juno was $20million. I don't know if it was shot contemporaneously with Lang's speech, but it sure seems like it was, because his speech was as inspiring as Jake's was (obviously, it was for an evil cause and all that, but it was still cool). Anyway, I could go on and on. The bottom line is that the movie is just altogether entertaining. I saw it (twice) yesterday and the images are still floating around in my head.
