13 Dec 2009 by D Mac

Seen In: Minority Report Pros: You can pave everything and make it a road, giving DC residents as many lanes than they could ever want. Pull right up to your 200th floor apartment. Cons: Imagine an accident at those speeds, ...

(R)editorial: Top Ten Films of the 2000s | Inside Redbox
15 Dec 2009 by Shane Smith
From its bleached out, Depression-era palette to its award-winning folk soundtrack, this eccentric take on Homer's classic is one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen. Chock-full of tasty, quotable Coen .... I thought Prestige, Master & Commander, V for Vendetta and Minority Report were the better movies, although I also love Almost Famous, Brother and the LOTR trilogy. Ratatouille just creeped me out due to the notion of a rodent anywhere near food preparation. ...

10 Years, 10 Best Science Fiction Films – Neatorama
14 Dec 2009 by Johnny Cat
Jacob Hall writes about one of his picks: Minority Report. The film is an engrossing look at a startlingly realistic future where psychics are used to predict murders and “Pre-Crime” units arrest would-be killers in advance. ... Delighted to see Moon on there. Such a treat to watch when you've dimmed the lights and immerse wholly into what's unfolding before you. Clint Mansell's soundtrack complemented the stark, lens-flare-capped visuals magnificently. ...

(F.O.A) - Freedom of Association: Avatar Review Quick Review
16 Dec 2009 by Obefiend Weiland
Beats Final Fantasy Spirit Within and Minority Report hands down! Action sequence was shot beautifully. NO bullshit fast-cuts like in Michael Bay or Paul Greengrass movies. You see everything. Have I said that the CGI is photorealistic? I did? Sorry. ... Colonel Miles Quaritch is the carbon copy; You like Oliphaunt from LOTR - they have those too; I fucking hate James Horner soundtrack. Titanic was the only bearable one for me. This one sucked. CLOSING STATEMENT ...
