| 4 Dec 2009 by admin I've got mixed feelings about Ridley Scott's Medieval epic Kingdom of Heaven. On the one hand, it's a great movie and I've probably watched it half a dozen times so far. On the other hand, it seems like just another Hollywood propaganda film .... In the High Definition front, this version of Kingdom of Heaven is a true revelation. When I saw this film in theaters and the (many)subsequent viewings on cable and DVD, I was curious about the color palette used in the film. ... Scott might have done the same thing with Robin Hood that A. Fuqua did with King Arthur - Retelling an old story .... I love movies like this. Whether or not that will turn into a definitive version of the legend, a cool medieval action movie, or an annoying hodgepodge of medievalism will be revealed next year. .... Robin of Sherwood was great with a great cast, nothing has come close since. It also featured a great soundtrack by Clannad.
