| 7 Jan 2009 by SEB_WW I recently had my JVC VHS / DVDR combi unit die on me (I think the DVD laser packed in). So I have replaced it with the Sony RDRGX350B DVD Recorder - ... I tried one of my problem discs in it last night - and I was delighted to discover it seemed like it would play it! Didn't have time to investigate further so will have to pop round again at the weekend and try what you suggest. Fingers crossed! Will report back when done - might be useful info for others. ...
