Win 7 Pro with XP Mode works great on these. Plus, you have onboard eSATA, and HDMI with DX10 capable Radeon HD 4200 which can play games ... Best case scenario with other lesser DL brands, is the discs may burn, but may end up unreadable in a fairly short time. Worst case....well, they'll fail to burn at all hehe ... | 4 Jan 2009 New Rush Hour 3 disc would not play, but movie Next played. Took the Rush Hour back got a different plus "Shoot 'Em Up" and neither one would play. We use this DVD player quite often and haven't had this problem before. ... I've tried store bought movies, DVD-RW, DVD+-RW and so on and so forth. | 30 Sep 2009 by Steeley Pioneer make the best optical drives in the business. Absolutely. I've bought 3 DVD drives in the last 10 years. First was a DVD-ROM, then a DVD-RW and then a DL DVD-RW. All of them were Pioneer and all are still working perfectly. #3.2 cabron on 01 Oct 2009 - 01:18 ... I definately would try another Pioneer drive, but my first choice as of today stands at Plextor drives, but since there are no BD burners yet, if at all, I'm stuck with the next best thing. ...
