| 18 Nov 2009 by Ygriega Hi there, I did a new installation of openSUSE 11.2 last Sunday and was pretty impressed how smoothly everything worked. I even got my DVB-C card to. ... Wodim (GUI K3B) and Nero exit as soon as they start to write data to the discs, both in simulation and in real mode. In 'real' mode, the disc's name gets burned, but besides that it became a coaster... So I only try the simulation mode... Any suggestions? | 25 Jun 2009 by dayrail I installed another CD/DVD-RW last night. It did not work. The same thing happened. Device Manager recognized the CD/DVD-RW but it wasn't listed under "My Computer" and Windows Media or Real Player. I went to another forum and found others having similar problems ... Exit Registry Editor. Restart the computer. Only I did not have "UpperFilters" or "LowerFilters" in the right pane. Fixit4me said it couldn't run with my operating system. I'm running Windows XP.
