| 22 Feb 2006 by Scott Rippee It took me a long time (15 or 30 minutes) to get all of the thermal pad off when scrubbing it with q-tips. Next you just put a small amount of thermal compound on the die of the chip and reset and screw in the heat sink. Good luck ...... Previously I had the issue with the wireless card than the dvd rw driave. now the whole damn things just died. Battery good,power adaptor good.
