| 8 Dec 2009 by tpex Nah not a codec problem coz the MW2 vids dont run on any codecs im familiar with... and its definitely a GFX problem as the vids are usually set to like a high spec considering its all part of the game and people dont wanna see pixels while trying to watch the story line pan out. And the industry demands this support. I expect VC-1 will still play a role in Microsoft's DRM ... The MP4 container format is based on the Quicktime container but not the codec. I do like Media Player Classic... but it isn't as easy to integrate with the Shell . Winamp... meh I used to love it, now it's all commercial crap and no substance. ... I'm pretty computer literate, ... tried some files, still no love. no ape, flac, flv in WMP in x64. in x86 I can see flv files in the file type settings in WMP and see the files in the library, but no video actually plays. However thinking of upgrades now, starting with a new case and PSU. .... every other Codec pack paled in comparison. I have FFDShow , Gabest x64 and PowerDVD 9 Ultra for BD playback on mine.
