I've used it to get Linux distributions. Also, contributing "ANYTHING" ..... By moving to a more decentralized system of handling tracking (DHT+PEX) and distributions of torrent files (Magnet Links), BitTorrent will become less vulnerable to downtime ..... Namely, that "magnet links" are yet again some new internet protocol that will require hours (months?) of tweaking to get working properly.
