Second Life Blogs: Technology: Script Limits
15 Dec 2009 by babbage@lindenlab.com
Somebody who needs 1.5mb of script memory on their avatar really has some of the worst attachments Second life Has to offer. It's the equivalent of 100 LSL scripts, or potentially alot more mono scripts. Crappy script-per-prim resizers, ...

cranky__crocus: Writer's Block: Winter wonderland
19 hours ago by Kiwi S.
My life right now is amazing. I picked up my sister from Amherst and we exchanged gifts. We both gave each other rings - she gave me a flowery planty one with KK (KristineKiwi) SS (Stardust Sisters) inside and I gave her a horse ring! ... Around 6.10 for when she announces me as SECOND PLACE in the ukulele contest, for my original song about mono! Which is amazing because the first place was automatically taken given Mouse (unknowingly) picked the cover that Adelle ...

13 Dec 2009 by Tateru Nino
It's now just over one year since Linden Lab announced that they would be implementing a some manner of script limitations over and above those which are presently a part of Second Life as it stands today. ... Scripts under the LSL runtime engine are allowed up to 16K of code and data, while scripts under the Mono runtime engine are allowed up to 64K. Loading a script takes a lot longer than loading primwork, and is a task accomplished in milliseconds, not microseconds. ...

Second Life Blogs: DPW - Department of Public Works: Kama City ...
13 Nov 2009 by michaelb@lindenlab.com
Instead of having to move a block of 16K to the new sim, mono requires the sims move a block of 64K which doesn't always work. So having vehicles set to be running in Mono makes them much more likely to crash at the sim crossings. ...
