How can the Redskins make the playoffs? « Weller and Bryan's ...

The Giants and Eagles would each be 4-2 in the division and the Cowboys and Redskins would both be 2-4. And the Giants would win the division over the Eagles with the third tie-breaker of the best win percentage in common games. .... New Orleans Saints – First Round BYE. 3. Dallas Cowboys vs 6. Washington Redskins (in Dallas). 4. Arizona Cardinals vs 5. Green Bay Packers (in Arizona). Now the standing wouldn't have to be exactly like this and the records wouldn't all have ...

.75*season predictions @ Life of DK

Eagles have the Falcons, Giants, Niners, Broncos, Cowboys and I think they'll go at least 4-1. Cowboys have the Giants, Chargers, Saints, Redskins, Eagles and I don't see them doing better than 3-2. It'll be a close call, depending on who ... Called it! The Bengals have proven to be dominant in a tough division, and their easy enough schedule will coast them to the division title. AFC South: COLTS Crazy I know. I'm such a gambler. Wildcard Round NFC Niners over Cowboys ...

Uh-oh Cowboys fans . . . December is here « The Full Count v2.0

Sure, the Cowboys are in good shape now, alone at the top of the NFC East with an 8-3 record, but the Philadelphia Eagles are only one game back, and while the New York Giants are slipping now, they're just two games back and have shown the ability to get hot late in the ... If somehow the Cowboys are able to make it to this game without having lost three or four of the previous contests, this game should not only decide the NFC East, but a first-round bye to the winner. ...

Caution is prudent in this case, and yet one game has been chipped off the division lead. The powerful Vikings are coming to town. Warner isn't sure what's next and, as a result, neither do Cardinals fans. .... Fantasy Football Stockwatch: Giants, Titans, Cardinals Fantasy News, Week 13. Manning says his feet are fine. Remember when Jacobs was a first round fantasy draft pick? Can Warner play in week 13? CJ is playing like Keanu Reeves in the Matrix. ...

The offensive line surrendered eleven sacks in two painful division losses to the Giants and Redskins. The latter let Washington leapfrog the Cowboys into the playoffs. That line, for those of you who have effectively disavowed it: ... The starters were 2-1, but when the Cowboys lost to New York in the divisional round, the memory of Romo's bye-week Cancun vacation and Jessica in the pink jersey were within easy reach for those wanting a quick, lazy excuse. ...

FR: Week 12 « Football Relativity

Even a first-round bye is unlikely for them at this point. We almost moved the Pats down, but we'll leave them in place to avoid a Tuesday-morning overreaction to a Monday-night blowout. 8 – Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys ... The Giants are all but done, and now they must face the Cowboys this week. That may be a win-or-go-home situation for Big Blue. The Jaguars lost on the road in San Francisco, and there's no shame in that for an average team, ...

I think the wild card spots are between the 3 nfc east teams (obviosly one wins the division) falcons and the packers. imo. falcons eagles game this weak is a win or go home game for the falcons ... I like how the Cards match up with them if Warner plays..the Bengals if they play at the level they have been can hopefully knock them off as well..and if the Giants show up that could be a loss also...we will have to see how this all unfolds ...

23 Nov 2009 by Joe Lazauskas
A couple of things will help: first, they only play one top passing team down the stretch (the Steelers), and secondly, they'll get a freebie in week 17, since the Cardinals will be locked into a first-round home playoff game and won't .... With all three at 10-6, weirdly, the Giants win the division, the Eagles take the WC (based on divisional tie-breakers, they'd have a better conference record), and the Cowboys lose out on a tie-breaker for the 2nd WC spot to the 10-6 ...

NFC Playoff Projections | 4th and Done
23 Nov 2009 by Ryan
If the Cardinals can beat Minnesota in week 13, they'll have a real shot at a first round bye. As of right now, I see them dropping a game to a lesser opponent because their schedule is so weak. It will come before or after the Viking ... The Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants all finish 10-6. The Cowboys are eliminated from the division title because their division record (3-3) is worse than New York's and Philadelphia's (both 4-2). The Giants then win the NFC East based on a ...
